Ok, My xbox just keeps failing to load maps on H2 and also sometimes wont start up because it doens't recognize the CD. I'm pretty sure it's not the game tho cuz i used another H2 CD and it did the same thing. I've uninstalled the new maps and reinstalled and done all that. Can anyone give me any help on the situation?

have you softmodded your xbox? if so... I would turn it off and re-try it

if you havent, it could be a dirty lense, my did that, and i get a $5 cd lense cleaner and it worked fine

No I haven't modded it but I guess i'll end up gettin one of those lense cleaners.

try that, i have to do it like once a month on mines, whenever I play campaing mode on H2, it would tell me that I cant read the disk, so i clean it real quick and it works fine after that

open ur xbox up find the laser in the cd drive thing when u find it the laser should be running on a track that is wat moves the laser up and down well enyway get a cotton bud dab it in sum wd40 or ufa greasy stuff and just rub the cotton bud on that track with the laser on and make it all greasy that should make it work betta it worked fine with me and my cd player after i done this and maybe with a dry cotton bud just gently dab the laser but not to hard ok it shud work fine

One of my xboxes I tried to softmod, and messed up. Now I get a black screen with green letters. ANything I can do to fix it?

But what i really need help is with my xbox. It wont read my halo 2 disk, or any other game disk in this case. I tried lense cleaner, that doesnt work, and I dont know what to do! I cant even play video games anymore!

For the black screen with the green letters what does the number on the top left say?

As for your xbox not being able to load disk I don't know you would be able to fix that.
