I have noticed many not so great roleplays, so I have decided to make a thread devoted to teaching people how to improve their writing. Just write in with what you need help with, and I'll see what I can do.

I have trouble making up stories. Are there any stratagies to help with that?

Thanks, Dark. Your awsome. I'll give that Rep. point, but I what I need is to learn how to write a lil' better like you or Strange One, cause you two are like my top two favorite RP writers. You two give the stories what they need a motive, a lot of action and ya'll include others in the story instead of concentrating on themselves and how their character rocks over all. Sorry, I sound like a fan girl right now

, geeezzz, man, I praise you guys to much and your propably getting tired of it. Ohhh...well... back to my lil' corner of the institution....(That was just a joke)

What you could use is a little more organization, and some more complex language and writing style. I reccommend you read the Halo novels and really study the authors writing style. You'll notice that I use styles from about 30 different authors, from Tolkien, to Nylund. After you gain experience, break off from these styles and create your own.

Well. Im tryig to make a story about what i think would happen in H3, but i cant really put it in writing.

Think of a storyline. Simple.

To put it into words, just go and pop in Halo 2. Now play through a few levels, so you get a few good experiences. Now think about the fine details. The plasma, explosions, ect... Then, find a way to include those details and experiences into writing.

I have all three books and all but there packed away right now. I know my langauge needs a lil' more improving, but sometimes writting like that doesn't suite me at times. But hey, I'll give it shot.
