im having trouble using linux installer in a mechassault format , ive read "one shot nubs"
guide modding for dummies but my xbox still does not recognize the saved game data from the ar

umm for softmodding, to use any mod whatsoever, you have to have your xbox connected to ur computer right?

don't just get the save off of codejunkies, that doesn't work, you have to download a .rar file and download WINrar and unrar the file. And then there are files in that that you need to copy over to your memory card. Then just put the memory card in the controller and start up the game and use the save. And on a side note you can't have any other mechassault saves on you box other then the linux save and the original mechwarrior. And also you need to have an original copy of Mechassault, it should be listed as either part No. X08-82261, X08-82262 or X08-82264. This is where it is:
