spartans heads are heads are smaller so they wont get sniped or br'ed that easy. An elite will! thats why it really sucks to pick them.

Besides having giant heads, has anyone noticed how elites shields are not as strong?? It takes 4 BR hits in the gut to kill a spartan and 2-3 to kill an elite.
Spartans are so much better

elites actually have stronger shields, in halo 3 that is. and the elite combat helm is small so it takes skill to kill one with a headshot since their heads are sometimes obscured by their backs.

bungie admitted that the spartans were better characters bcause the elite has too many flaws...ages ago...
