Virginia Tech Memorial
Today, all schools across america, spent one minute of silence for the rememberance of those who died in the largest school shooting in American History. I remember being in one of my classes when my teacher told us about it. 17 people were already dead. It didnt really strike me until I got home about how many people died. Thought I would share my thoughts.
Victims:
Emily J. Hilscher
Ryan Christopher Clark
Ross Abdallah Alameddine
Brian Bluhm
Austin Cloyd
Matthew Gwaltney
Caitlin Hammaren
Jeremy Herbstritt
Rachael Elizabeth Hill
Matthew La Porte
Henry Lee
Partahi Lumbantoruan
Lauren Ashley McCain
Minal Panchal
Daniel Patrick O'Neil
Juan Ramón Ortiz
Daniel Pérez Cueva
Erin Peterson
Michael Steven Pohle, Jr.
Julia Pryde
Mary Karen Read
Reema Joseph Samaha
Waleed Shaalan
Leslie Sherman
Maxine Turner
Nicole White
Christopher James Bishop
Jocelyne M. Couture-Nowak
Kevin P. Granata
Gobichettypalayam Vasudevan Loganathan
Liviu Librescu
That last guy, Liviu Librescu, was a hero that day. When the shooter came to the door this war veteran barricaded it with his body so his students could jump out the window. he was shot 5 times and died.

Well I live in Virginia, not far away, and lots of people wore OJ/Maroon today.
I didnt. I felt kinda bad, but then again I didnt know. Dont really pay attention to that kinda stuff except for 9/11.
What I dont understand is why its such a huge thing, almost as big as 9/11. And 33 people isnt even close to the thousands that died on September 11th.
And also, to celebrate it on Weed Day!? Thats a burn..
(I thought more people died at the Columbine?)

Columbine was about 15. And it is such a big deal because it is a school. Also, some sick video game company made a video game about the Columbine massacre. Those sick pricks.

We didn't take a minute of silence for them... And the game you are talking about I think I have heard of it. I think it isn't on or based on the columbine shootings it's just a shooting game of some kind where you walk in and kill people... It's still messed up... Very messed up... I hate it when People have to talk about these things, I get sad, you don't need to remind me of it, It is likely we already know if big things happen like this. I just don't want to think about it. It makes me hurt, that all of those people died. Nobody should ever take the life of another.
