Halo Fanfiction
|
What do you think constitutes bad Halo fanfiction, and what is your opinion of Halo fanfiction as a whole? Good? Bad? Examples? Write about it.

if they make all up all of this stuff and lie and change known facts them its bad.
and if u cant understand their story cuz of bad typing thats also a big part

fanfiction is awesome...as long as they dont mess up the story...i mean if you want to make your own fictional story based on halo cool, except changing anything in the base story line is just pure blasphemy to the game and its plot...but if you make fanfiction as a side story to everything and is not very relevant to the games plot...awesome

Well...what constitutes is description, grammer, and other such things. What I DON'T like about a lot of fanfiction is that they don't put enough thought into their work. Hence, a lot of plot inconsistencies occur, and the reader is unaware of how the writer is getting to a certain point.

yeah...thats why i prefer i wider ranging universe to write my fan fics in, like battletech...when u got like...100 yrs + to write stories in, across a galaxy spreading several thousand light years, with millions of worlds..its so easy to slot stories in...

F*cking awesome books! Loved them the first day I read one, I have a small collection of Battletech books, and I must say, that all those authors really knew/know how to make some really great books - I once made a forum dedicated to Battletech, it is still up, just kind of dead....I should get on there and revamp it a bit...

If you keep to the facts and use Logical thinking, you should be able to make a pretty good fan-fiction so long as you use good grammar and type well.

have u actually tried the game, classic battltech? lots of fun, and im gonna be writing a battle-blog of a campaign that me, my lil bro and my stepdad are running...anyway, BOT (back on topic), yeah fanfics are great because they give authors a chance to start writing, include a decently deep plot and characters, withought sounding cheesy
