I would like everybodies opinion on what you think will be in halo three, involving weapons, vehicles, levels, and people.

Here's my hypothesis for Halo 3's Campaign:

The UNSC will pull back everything it has to Earth to defend it from the Covenant. Our main army and the majority of our fleet will be destroyed, and we'll end up fighting a guerilla war in the ruins of New Mombassa.

The Flood will also do a huge amount of damage on the other human planets and in space, because they now have control of High Charity's fleet. Probably they will do most of the damage to the UNSC. I think we'll meet some of the UNSC's leaders, only to have them die. Eventually the government will topple, and we'll end up uniting as equals under nobody's command to defend Earth.

The Covenant will glass all the other human planets, but they'll leave Earth. The Prophet of Truth will come to the ruins of New Mombassa and find the Ark, which will be underneath the city. He will activate it, but the Master Chief will beat him up and stop the countdown before it blows. Before Truth is killed, though, he'll tell the Master Chief that Earth will not be affected by the Halos. The Forerunner made it safe so that some of them would survive. They eventually became humans. The Prophet of Truth was trying to activate it so it would starve the Flood, as long as they could be kept off of Earth.

The Master Chief will kill the Prophet of Truth, but he won't destroy the Ark. He'll ally with the Arbiter, go to High Charity on a Covenant ship, kill Gravemind, and get Cortana back.

Cortana will have decoded the information from Halo's Control Room, and she'll tell us that High Charity and the Covenant homeworlds are also immune to the Halos, and that the Forerunner wasn't a race, it was an alliance of races, some of which survived on the immune planets and became humanity and the Covenant. Humanity and the Covenant will reunite, return to Earth, and activate the Ark while holding out with all their forces against a final Flood attack in space. The Ark will fire the Halos just after the Master Chief makes it back to Earth while the Arbiter stays behind to hold the Flood off and gets killed by the Halos along with the Covenant fleet.

Credits roll...

Afterward, we see that a Flood Infection Form managed to get onto Earth during the last battle...

What do you think? I doubt this is actually what will happen, but it's an idea.

I think that on multiplayer you should get the option to make your own lvls

Dude...that would be sweet! except for the flood on the home world. i think halo is best off at 3. Finish off strong with a trilogy. also i like the idea of the "sacraficial hero" that the arbitor dies as. but wouldnt that just wreck the entire war? i mean...the UNSC was trying to stop the alien invaders, then MC was trying to stop the actiivation of the halos...so if the halos never effected earth...it would be a waste of life for those who accompanied MC and defended the homeworld. i mean, after all, the covvies ouldda taken the ark and left. no harm done. and activated the halos. also no harm done. as for the own levels, tank commander...it would delay how fast the games would come out. im not sure if i want to wait til im a senior in high school (im in 8th grade) just to play halo 3...even if i cant stand the cliff hanger they left us with and its the best game i ever played.

The Flood being on Earth would certainly not be the only opening for a forth Halo. If what I suggested happens, all the Covenant homeworlds would run the risk of being infected, and High Charity would still be around as an all-Flood planet with space-faring technology. Having one Flood make it to Earth wouldn't be the only way they could justify a Halo 4.

I think Halo 4 might not be such a bad idea, as long as they keep it fresh. I don't think it should go beyond that, though.

Yeah, Final Fantasy does kind of suck now that they have so many. What are they up to like 12 now? I think it should just end with halo 3, if it goes on much longer than that most of us will be old men by the time halo 4 comes out. LOL :D

LOL...and you know what the weird thing is? we'd still buy halo 4...and then our gradnkids would come visit and we'd mindlessly be killing people, and some would even be listening to rap music. violent, cursing old people...lol

Also, (for Lunchlady) I would not want Halo 3 to be delayed. But what is so wrong about Halo 3 coming out in your senior year? Halo 2 came out in mine.

Yeah Dark Eagle, that would be pretty cool. I just wish that they could make those games a little faster, that would be nice.

That would be a good plot, for multiplayer I wish they would let you be grunts, hunters, jackals, ect.
