G. Final five was a book about the end of the halo series...Discontinued due to lack of production. It tells the story of the end of halo and is ...512 pages! amazing! Although it didn't come from bungie, (sure hope it did) It tells an amazing story an i guess it could lead up to it, Who knows maybe bungie has a copy o_0

The eletric grenade sounds like fun. I still think I want a "war axe" for the chief. I can't remember what book it was or what character that I read who had a war axe but it was just hilarious and cool at the same time! He needs one of those badass double edge things like Gimli has in Lord of the Rings (this wasn't the book i read it in though, but its a good example). I agree we need more earth boards, and a human flying vehicle. I could even go for another level of difficulty although I must admin that Legendary has whipped my butt pretty good, but we got through it.

Alot of people have been wanting swords and jakcle shields does this mean a maybe end to guns or do people just still prefere to be old fashioned

k i think more destructable levels would be great so you could smash through walls and destroy more things that would rock oh yeh and new robots in order to replace the sentinells more upgraded

All I'm really hoping for in Halo 3 is a satisfying resolution of the plot. I think three is enough. Let the books clean up if they want to, but Bungie should do something else.

I would like to see customized armor in every color. Like there are so many different clolored elites in Campaign mode, but when you go to customize your own, there are like no good colors, they should have all the colors available for multiplayer, and more team colors too.

Have sidewinder but with more snow and tunnels all under neath the snow, main tunnels big enough for vehicles and and branches would be smaller. Some you would have to crouch into and you could end up in a cave. Th old bases could be underground and the new ones could be on the plateaus that wre preiviously out of the level. That would make for killer 4 way team games. several of the tunnels would be collapsable from the top and would then cut off that tunnel but make an entrance to the outside of the tunnel. Call the map Blizzard.

In most games, movies, and books you understand the life of the hero and can relate to him or her at some level. If Master Chief was to survive the "last campaign" of this galactic battle... If Master Chief saved the world and died because of it he would... If Master Chief had to choose between his life and the fall of earth or the freedom of earth at the cost of his life, he will be seen as a great hero at a great magnitude. My father (a retired Master Sergent from the marines) always told me that a dead hero gets more respect than a live one. He also told me that if the hero ever survives a conflict that he will be forgotten (I always wonder if he talks about himself. He has wounds and scares. When I ask where they came from he says he is not allowed to say what happend. All he says is that what he has done has changed world events.).

Yeah, that would be the best way to do it, but it would be hard to lose the chief. Especially if he dies at the end of Halo 3 and Halo 3 takes place right after Halo 2 does. Because over the span of Halo and Halo 2, it all happened in the same year, 2552 to be exact, and it was actually just a matter of months that everything happened. So if the Chief did die, he would have only been fighting most of his battles for a little over a year. He did however fight in other battles, such as when him and a few of his team members went to a rebel base in the year 2525 i believe. This was before MJOLNIR armor, and he was fighting against other humans. But most of his battling against the Covenant all happens in the year 2552.

Actually, the Chief was fighting the Covenant since the start of the war, so Halo 1 and 2 combined are less than 1/27th of his combat time :)

Yeah, but most of the main stuff happened in 2552. Sure, there were other things, but the end of The Fall of Reach, All of the Flood, and all of First Strike took place in 2552. Sure there were other battles, but most of the ones that everyone knows about were in The Flood (combat evolved). Which all happened in 2552.

i like the idea of MC and the arbiter both going down... on each other! no i was only joking. i can imagine it now, both of them being surrounded by flood and the fighting, back to back, brother to brother. then arbiter gets a flood latched onto him and he says"kill me, i want to die with HONOUR!" and chief slowly raises his M6d to arbiters head and BANG!

i believe (correct me if im wrong) that the time matrix was the artifact discovered by the chief and Dr halsey which allowed them to go back int time before reach was destroyed, to save the other spartans. i havent read first strike so if i got this wrong then someons correct me
