In Halo 2, Bungie took out the D-Pad control so that no one will be able to use it. But in Halo 3, you should be able to use the D-Pad to tell other marines or, hopefully, other Spartans where to go and when...like in Rainbow 6, it was just a waste not being able to use the D-Pad.

This is not Brute Force! Brute force was a
game that had the game engine and
controls of Halo and the D-pad idea or
Rainbow games. As you can tell no one
talks about Brute Force.

i have been thinking about that too. allies, although not as much as the original halo, still run into battle to blindly and get killed. i wouldnt want to have to order them around and make their every move, but a little commanding would be nice.

I agree with what you have to say. It would
be good to control your teamates from geting
their heads blown off but I just do not want
to control their every move and thought.

i think this would be good for D-PAD set up
up=move forward
down=stop
right=protect me
left=act as normal
u wouldnt have to control everything if u cancel it out with the act as normal option.

It is true that no one talks about Brute Force. It had some things from halo except what makes Halo unique...the story line. That is why no one talks about Brute Force.
