In Halo 3, I would be incredibly disapointed if they did not include dropships. Considering Halo 3 will probably be 32 players in a game, I would hope that they would add Dropships(Covenent and Human) to larger maps. The Dropships could be modeled after the helicopter carriers in BattleField: 1942. I think the Human Dropship should hold 8 passengers (not including pilot) and have rockets as weapons (with ammo of course) and a chaingun (with unlimited ammo). The human dropship would be slower than the covenent dropship, but would make up for it in firepower. The Covenent dropship would hold 16 passengers (not including the pilot) and would have a plasma turret. The Covenent Dropship would be faster than the human dropship but would be slower and less maneuverable than the banshee. I hope that we can get Bungie to add these. It would be AWSOME!!! :) :) :)

The only problems with this are that the Pelican has no rocket launcher, and it's much faster and more maneuverable than the Phantom. I'd say you have the roles reversed here, but other than that it seems fine.
