what one song would you pick to go on halo 3 besides the orchestra-style music? i would pick the used "take it away" because the song rocks. also, in the beginning of it there is a gun cocking, which goes hand in hand with mc's line "I need a weapon."

yeah, i listen to korn all the time. maybe something from goth metal band Lacuna Coil. they have many songs that mix orchestra-style music and metal.

Does anyone else think the musical score in the first game went a lot smoother? It was all fairly militaristic with elements of adrenaline, fear, conquest and spookiness when it needed it (in my opinion). But what the f-ck happened with Halo 2? Quite a bit of the music sounds like something you'd hear at any "live" night at the local bar. Like on Arbiter when you steal the Banshee, and the score goes into some pop/siesta/jazz/funk/rock thing. And on another level, further on, can't remember which one (maybe Quarantine), it's a pure-electronica synth-beat that just sounds fruity. I'm not really bitching, it just kinda put a quirky expression on my face from time to time. Just curious if anyone else wondered this?

i thought the music was pretty good. however, the song in the main menu is better than some other songs in the game. but, the best is the breaking benjamin song...

I enjoy the Halo 2 music for the most part. The "makes me want to kill somebody music" always seems to be in the right place.

get a blunt rusty spoon and attack anything
in your sight. If you get their "Reise Reise"
Cd you will get your money back in adrenaline
you get pumped in your blood. I sometimes
turn my speackers down and play "Reise Reise"
while playing Halo 2. I usually keep the reglar
music on because I appreciate its classical
style and new age style.
