Hey, i heard rumors that someone found the Jackal shield? Does anyone know if that is true? Has anyone found it and if so how do you get to it, I heard that it is at Qurantine zone but ive only heard rumors.

I dont know but i can see a movie where the ppl pick up the Jackal Shield in Delta Halo and that great,but i think this is a glitch,trick or code for Action Replay or Game Shark i dont Know.

hey my freind called me asking for help in zanzibar i helped him out but then he asked me u can pick up a shield? hes a stoner so i figured he had the energy sord and thought it was a sheild so i dont know but it could of bin a sheild

One shield wouldn't protect your whole body, and even if you dual-wielded them, your sides and back would be open. And why would you want to just hide behind them? What's the point of that? You'd never be able to get any points. Jackal Shields certainly wouldn't be overpowered. In fact, I'd probably never use them.

DUDES! the jackel shield is so freaking easy to penatrate. the only thing that would make it gay is if someone with an overshield used it. but on the flip side they are only going to be using one weapon.

what it would need to be is that you could only hold 1 and that your weapons were limited to the plasma pistol, magnum, and smg

in short i think the jacke sheild by useful in team games with close quarters than again it sucks.

I wouldn't be suprised to see the Jackal shields available to the MC in Halo 3.

Ummmmmmm no jackle shields suck, cuz n single player mode all i have to do is go up and whip them and they die! No on Halo 3 the need to have Fuelrod cannons on multi player mode.

They would be cool but a point was made in the thread titled Fuel-Rod Cannon saying that it is way too powerful for multiplayer. It has the power of a rocket launcher, and it can hold up to 30 shots, shooting 5 shots at a time, i thought it would be cool to have them at first but since they are basically the covie equivilant of a human Jackhammer Rocket Launcher, and since getting blasted by rockets already pisses me off, i would hate to get blasted even more by a fuel-rod cannon.

Fuelrod on multiplayer. Yeeeeaaahh riiiiiiiiiight. They are way better than the nube tube. They would own.

Jackal shields are not that cheap. All you
need to do is overpower a plasma pistol
and shoot it to make it go away for a
couple seconds. Plenty of time to pull the
trigger to end life.

it would be fun to have ONE jackal shield in multiplayer at a time like the sword,except it could only take a certain number of hits before running out. because everyone running around with shields would be lame. but it would be fun to have a little medieval jackal shields and energy swords only mode :D
