if u could fight with your hands in halo 3 it would be AMAZING

how would you work out the controls for that? I think the control would be hard to get used to but that would be sick! I mean you've seen the master cheif punch...imagine a kung-Fu kick? or even coming up behind someone and snapping their neck like in splinter cell! :D

that would be alright, and you can get your character to hold no weapons, you just charge a plasma pistol and pick up the odd ball while its charging and then drop the ball with one of the triggers and you will have no weapons, you can punch or do anything but its pretty cool becuase you cant see your feet and the outline around the enhanced vision is gone

but you dont have an advantage with empy hands do you?

hand to hand combat (like kung fu) would be the $h!t not because im Asian but because id like to boot a grunt in the @$$! :D

As long as the game stayed primarily a shooter; we don't want Halo to become a fighting game.

Hand to hand wold be good but the covenat wold gust blow your
head of when you try to kick there ass with no weapons so I wold perfer to blow there heads of frist with an M90 Shotgun.

Hand to hand would get you killed nine times out of ten in a straight combat situation, but when you run out of ammo it would be nice to have. You'd definitely want to ambush people coming around corners, though. An unarmed charge on an armed enemy would be suicide.

It would be something you'd only use when you're out of ammo. Guns will always be more effective.
