How about this for a multiplayer style. Two
bases in a giant map. To cross it will be a
journey all in its own (just so that it is not
easy to get to enemy's base). You get to
pick either human or covinent. Whatever
you choose the map will change the base to
your species style. Unit will spwan in your
base and and by your orders either attack
other base or defend your base. Vehicles
will spawn by your "factories" and your
units will drive then automatically. The
units you get, weapons, and vehicles will
rely on how long you base is still alive. For
example, if the game only started 5 minutes
ago and you are a covie you will only get
grunts with plasma pistols. And if the game
has been running for 25 minutes then you
will get hunters spawning, camo elites,
wraith tanks, and banshees.. If this was
to happen I can say one thing...

And even better if you can play against
another controller that was a bot instead
of being controlled by a person.

From the first few lines I was thinking why is he talking about blood gulch in the third person then I read the rest. :D

Make this a Halo 3 type thing but online and make it last like four hours. Something like that would need to last more than 30 min. Each person would be a real person and upgrade levels (grunt, elite, hunter, etc.) and upgrade weapons and stuff. The playing field would be GIANT and very detailed and have plenty of corners and hiding spots and sniper spots. This would be a giant giant thing. THAT would be the way to go on this subject. :) :) :)

A level with an active volcano would be very cool graphically I think:-) I know this is a bit off topic, but the bombing of the volcano island made me think of it.

On another note, it would be very interesting for a MP map & game take on aspects of a campaign. As technolgoy advances I dont' think its out of reason to think we might see something like this, with a huge huge huge level with 30-50 players on each side, with real strategy involved (eg. advanced scouts, sniper spots, artillery, air support, etc)

That would be awesome, but you would need a crapload of people, and the loading time would more than likely be immense

dont know ifd you played with starcraft but thats kinda what its like? because if thats it i would luv to play it i like games like starcraft and graw( like giving the commands with the control pad)

srry didnt see this oops lol but ya it is alotmlike it and i think with the 360 cpu it would load hella fast
