Halo games are first person shooters. And
even if you got the option that you want
(the whole choice thing) people will pick
1st person because 3rd person is just too
much to take in. You have to watch your
character plus the character usually blocks
your view and it will be easier to die due to
not seeing your enemies.

You do not see everyone running to buy
Brute Force. It has the same engine as Halo
but in 3rd person. And if you ask anyone
they will tell you that Brute Force is gay.

i agree with WingsOfVengeance05, Halo is a first person game.. period. It would be too hard to play it in 3rd person. Kind of like how they put third person on Ghost Recon 2. Everyone was used to first person, and it now that it has third not too many people use it (at least i dont). And ive never played Brute Force, or even heard much about it for that matter, so i really cant judge it, but since nobody hears anything about it, it probably isnt a very good game.

In all my gaming experience, lol , the only good third person games i've seen are sudeki and the lost kingdoms games. there are two different reasons why these games are good in this mode. one is that in sudeki the gameplay is basically up close and personal. also they wanted to emphasize the graphics of the world. in lost kingdoms you have to be able to see the entire arena at once. But in halo and halo 2 the purpose is to shoot at a target and get to objectives. I mean can you imagine trying to snipe across a level in third person mode. I mean really it would be impossible to do that in 3rd

halo? 3rd person? psh... that would be pretty stupid. the only good game i found in third person that was a shooter was ghost recon 2, just becuase the first person in that game was very retard, it was just the same view without the person, you couldn't even see your gun
