What is a new weapon you'd like to see in halo 3? Mine would be a bow and arrow, that would be awesome.

Shields would be cool, or active camo. I would like to see some proximity mines. A silenced machine gun of some sort would be cool too.

I'd like to see and EMP device. That would be somewhat interesting. A Ghost flying by you, you board it and instead of kicking out the driver, shove the EMP on it and jump off, watching as it crashes into a wall.

Bow and Arrows would SUCK! And with a capital S I might add. It wouldn't even take down a Grunt. You couldn't even hold it without breaking it and it would only shoot about fifty-one hundred paces away and even then, it would bounce off of the opponents armor. Duh.

Why didnt humans get lots of new things, Like a new dropship(desperatley needed) and a new Car, not new warthog but new car. And if only you could get in and drive the cars on the Bridge in the Earth Levels, that would be awesome, and if you could pick up ruins and stuff and beat up the aliens, like the Grunts,lol. :D :p

If you read the books you would understand that humans are far behind in technology and most likely the aliens really didn't get anything new, they just chose to wait to use it against the humans.

I can see the covanent using a remodeled bow with sticky grenade as the tips it would make a new grenade launcher. I think they should just mold halo 1 and 2 together keep the old and new pistol bring back the assault rifle. and keep the old rocket damage.

Ah like i said it is a distance weapon, same thing with the sniper you woudln't run up to a brute with a sniper, you'd get a shotgun, more effective

That is a great idea,this is good for practice,and you can change the difficulty. :D

just give me my night vision scope back, stick the scope back onto my pistol, make the battle rifle full auto again, and just modify the current weapons... such as an extended clip for the pistol, maybe a thermal scope for the rifle and maybe how about taking the old school shotgun turning down the damage and making it into a pancor jackhammer(fullauto shotgun)...and forget a bow and arrow ill stick with my shotgun and sniper set HAVE A NICE DAY :D

Humans are supposed to be out gunned and out strategized that was how the covenants effectiveness came into exsistence if human weapons could compete with covenant weapons or surpass them then there would be no need for master chief and therefore no Halo

The guns aren't the problem; on the ground, humans generally kick the Covenant's butt, even without the Master Chief. It's in space, where even the MC can't help, that the Covenant are slaughtering us, because their ships are so much better than ours. And their strategies are horrible; that's the only reason we ever win space battles.

The covenant are definetly more strategically armed, they are just too cocky that is how they lose the ground battles, also if you play anything higher than easy difficulty you will see you marines cut down by hunters and elites alike.

The Covenant have the advantage of numbers, but up until Halo 2 I'd definitely say the humans outgunned them on the ground. Now, though, with the improved Covenant arsenal, I'd say that's changed. On Normal, the Marines still do okay against the Covenant.

how about a plasma shot gun or a plasma dagger and rod. the plasma rod is hlaf an enrgy sword and it it used for stealth can be dual wielded and can climb with it who likes this idea or how about a plasma shotgun

A bow and arrow would be cool if it was like a 1200 lb. bow. LOL I mean the chief and toss tanks over with one hand...why not. Then the arrow would make it through any armor if it was like a huge iron spear. So basically you want your Battle Rifle to have two scopes? Because the Battle rifle pretty much is a sniper rifle, just with a three burst fire.

The grunts,jackals,and brutes would probably eat the scarabs and the elites would protest eating earth bugs and the drones would turn against the Covenant for eating there 2nd cousins twice removed.

Well theres been alot of talk and I think its a great idea to put a flamethrower in the game. Also I would like to see a covernment version of the rocket launcher. One that shoots a huge plasma beam that makes a massive explosion.

I would like to see the Grav Gun (taken from Half-Life 2 haha) and lil turco there is such thing as a Covenant rocket laucher, it's the Fuel Rod Cannon. What I don't understand is why they didn't put the Fuel Rod Cannon in Halo 2 multiplayer, Bungie said it was due to the fact that it was too powerful, now thats BS!
