As an employee at GameStop, I understand what its like to hear a rumor and question its authenticity. What I hope to do is keep the Halo population informed with the most up-to-date rumors and secrets floating around. Some people have their sources, but I have mine.
To date, I have heard that Bungie will still more than likely still be releasing Halo 3 when Sony releases their PSX3. Rumors of this release (Sony PS3) is 3rd quarter 2006 (only reason I announced this is it ties with Halo 3) However, Bungie is rumored to not even be close to this title release by this year and its floating around that Halo 3 will release around late 4th quarter 2006 to 2nd quarter 2007. I hate waiting myself, but it give me time to get a 360.
Also, Halo 3 the movie is rumored to be in the works. So far, I've heard only that 1. There will be a movie 2. Bruce Willis will be Master Chief. Now for those of us that have finished Halo 2 on legendary (first of all congrats) will notice a slight problem in actor choice...

ok so other that the Bruce Willis thing, which is prob B/S.....i don't think he would do a movie like that!

but everything else u said has been going around for a long time(since the xbox 360 rumors were "all the talk")..

Halo 3 will most definetly be pushed back because they will always want to put more stuff in the game to make it better but i have heard that they might not be releasing it on the same day of the ps3 anymore

Flamed or not makes no difference to me... of course I'd rather I wasn't, but making such comments and argueing over the net is about as smart as trying to sticker someone with a frag grenade.
That being said, all I offer are rumors and since we all know that not all rumors are correct, lol please bare with me.
I have another to add tonight I was just made aware of: Our store offers reserves of course (this is not a gimmic to get reserves btw) If any of you have reserved from a GameStop or Software ECT, you know u get goodies. Demos, action figures, cards, books, blah blah blah that you cant get just buying the game. Halo 3 (when you can reserve it) is rumored to have a "care package" Not much is know in the company yet about this "care package" and there are only speculations. DVD's, art book, bracelets, key chains, who knows. But hey, its free stuff. When i can get a more definate answer, i'll post it. Till then, good luck waiting for it to come out!

Alright...first of all...I HAVE stuck someone with a frag grenade...don't reply on that, it was a fluke, and I wasn't modding. Secondly, Halo 3 has no definate plans for a release date. They will opt for PS3 release time (Nov 2k6 I believe), however, they do realize their mistake in not finishing Halo 2 to the extent they wanted, and I believe they will remedy that by not setting a specific release date that must be met. Consider the fact that Halo 3 will sell Xbox 360's...if it don't work, it ain't coming out til' it does. Many of those fun little Halo 2 glitches and oversights probably won't show up due to overly extensive testing. Microsoft has literally billions of dollars invested in Xbox 360...in short, Microsoft has billions of dollars invested in Halo 3. These are trying times in gaming people. A company may be on the verge of going the way of Sega...and no one wants that.

On Halo 3 I heard a couple of cool thing. Like on the first level in campaign you will be start out being surrounded by flood. They will surround you and attack you from all angels. Another thing I heard is you will be able to run in halo 3. By holding or pressing a you will be able to run at a faster speed.

Um...Summer of 2007 for the game and movie, been like that for a while, not exactly news. And Bruce Willis is just slightly booked making Morgan's Summit, Black Water Transit, Die Hard 4, Over the Hedge, Perfect Stranger, and The Astronaut Farmer. Not too mention the fact that Bruce won't work with del Toro or Jackson, and owns stock for the competitors of Fox and Universal. Time to take a second look at that source...

ive heard also tht they might release it on same day ps3 comes out not sure wen but i heard on same day.. o and the movie ive heard only one director is up to it and its peter jackson ( guy who made king kong) but he said he might not even get into tht he also says "its a waste of money".....YEA RITE imagine how many ppl will see tht movie and buy it!!!!! but yet dont get ur hopes up for a halo movie :(

it is siad from a guy i know that works at bungie that bungie will try to get us flying the pelican! also that the elites will form up on our side to and ask us to destroy the brute homeworld. this we will maybe do. what i know for a complete and certain fact is that like the banshee. we will get a human airvehicle! i will post more stuff wen i get more info.
