Hello fellow halo 2 fans, I am a n00b on this forum but not on forums, snice i am a moderator for one gaming forum. I hope that I get a good repuation from you comrades.

Anyway, Have you people ever heard that you are able to get the so called 'Golden Warthog' (it is more of yellowish color) that you see in the huge sign in the level 'Headlong'? Well from what i have heard (and seen) it is quite possible that you are able to do that. It is only recieved in the multiplayer online and it is very simple - Get 15 other players in a matchmaking game and (If possible) talk to your friends on the headset and explain to them that all you have to do is to shoot the Rocket launcher (Yes every single one of them has to do it on the same time) on the big sign of the Golden Warthog and it will fall from the sky.

This is just a rumor mind you, It is fun to try it out... Me and my buddies tried it with 10 players and unfortunately it did not work so i suggest to some of you to get a full party (16 players) and try it out!

OMG, this reminds me of the golden Banshee, for any of you who are regulars at Halo.Bungie.Org (HBO for short)

For those of you who havent heard of it, Basically back in Halo 1, some crackheads started a rumor about a Golden Banshee. Bungie, being the mischevious little devils that they are, decided to play along and sent these guys a screenshot of a golden Banshee and told them that they had discovered their most secret Easter Egg in Halo. The rumor starters took them seriously, and used the screenshots they recieved and edited the Golden Banshee into a bunch of other screenshots. Then Bungie told the Guys at HBO that it was really a big hoax, the guys who started the rumor were humiliated beyond compare. :D

never heard of the golden banshee...but as for the warthog i think of the warthog as the equivalant to our modern day Hummer. Hummers are now being produced for civilian use as well as military use. he military ones are crude and come in one basic color...olive drab. the civilian one is much more luxourious and comfortable. (my dads in the military and ive seen one. not that comfy the military ones arnt...but the new civilian ones are sweet.) (oh that reminds me...im gonna be moving soon down to the atlanta georgia suberbs and if i dont post for a while my internets not up. i think im movin first 2 weeks of april.)

I remmember that. Being one of those photoshop people was a friend of mine. Everyday I point and laugh at him.

I had a gullible friend who believed it and tried to convince us he had gotten it. he looked pretty stupid when I showed him the official post proving it a hoax. aaaah, good times, good times.......

It is NOT real. Yes, it can be modded in, but it's not intended to be in the game.

Forgot this warthog is only a rummor I see a videos where the ppl can get this warthog but we are trying and nothing.

alright, its been proven, and bungie hasn't even said themselves that there is no such thing as a golden warthog, only modders can replicate this idea on their xbox's
