All u die hard X-Box fans are gonna hate this thread but I am saving up for an X-Box and X-Box live. In the mean time it would be great if bungie would sell to PS2 just like GTA has to X-Box. I know that some of you are going to post about thee speed of the PS2 but technology is advancing and a PS3 is on the horizon and maybe a X-Box2. :D . It is just with all the halo glory being on x-box. Us on the PS2 want in. So is it a good idea or not. :confused:

I dont believe that it will ever come to PS2. There was another thread about this topic and the idiot who made it got told off pretty quickly. Sorry, I dont think Play Station can handle Halo 2.

Who were the 2 who voted yes? I can guess Tanker did but who else did? I dont like hate the person who voted yes, I just want to know what drove him to vote yes on such a question that deserved an obvious no.

Believe it or not, it was me. I don't think it ever will happen; Microsoft would never have it. But if, by some miracle, they were willing to, and Sony gave them enough money to make it worthwhile to them, I do think it would be a good idea, as it would more than triple the number of Halo fans and make it a much more popular game overall (not that it needs it, but still... no harm in going for a record :))

Halo is an Xbox game. It is sacreligeous to think of it as anything else. Besides the Ps2,s graphics aren't as good as an Xbox's. Halo needs brilliant graphics. (I am not sayin that Halo needs good graphics to make it a good game but the good graphics come with the hole Halo experience.)

No, Halo 2 is not designed for something weak like the PS2... It is far too powerful for the PS2... it is only designed for the Xbox. Sorry, Halo will never ever come to PS2 or even the next PS3. Besides... Halo is actually the game that kept the Xbox in the market... If Halo did not exist then the Xbox would be like another Dreamcast.

I think Halo going to the PS is a bad idea. It would never be as good as on the x-box. Plus, even if it did go to the PS, it would flop compared to the sucess on x-box because of one reason...multiplayer. That is what makes halo 2 so good. Sure they would have split screen and sony's crappy online, but without Live, it would not be nearly as good.

You are quite right I have expirenced X-box's Live and it does rock. The connection is brill but one day the Ps will be as good then Halo will be ours. MUhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
